MEET Dr. ANGELA PRESCOTT
Dr. Prescott is a double board-certified female plastic surgeon serving the Louisville metropolitan area.
Dr. Prescott has over 14 years of medical and surgical experience including general surgery training, military deployment, field surgery experience, as well as plastic surgery expertise.
As a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Prescott specializes in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast, and body. Her area of expertise also includes non-surgical rejuvenation of the face and body.
Dr. Prescott holds herself to the highest standard, as she is double-board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Prescott’s Background:
Dr. Prescott was born in Frankfurt, Germany as a child of a military family. Her family settled in Florida where she received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Florida International University, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. She completed her medical school education and general surgery training at The University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Prescott then proudly served our nation for four years in the United States Air Force as an active-duty general surgeon. While serving, Dr. Prescott worked in Japan, southeast Asia, Washington DC, and deployed to the middle east as a damage control general surgeon. She earned an Air Force Commendation Medal for her service during Operating Inherent Resolve and has served on three US presidential support missions.
After completion of her active-duty military service, Dr. Prescott completed three additional years of training at the internationally renowned University of Pittsburgh Department of Plastic Surgery, one of the top plastic surgery programs in this country.
Dr. Prescott is thrilled to serve the Louisville area, with her husband Dan and her son, Lincoln.
