Arm Lift Recovery

The procedure may require an overnight stay, though some patients may be able to return home the same day as their arm lift. You will need to have someone drive you home following your procedure and may need assistance around the house for the first day or so of the recovery process.

Bruising and swelling are to be expected. Compression garments are normally worn for 3 weeks following surgery to support the arms and aid in swelling. Pain should be minimal and can be managed with medication. To ensure you are healing properly, follow-up visits will be scheduled.
