Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

With age, upper arm skin can become loose and flabby - This may be a hereditary issue or related to weight gain. Brachioplasty is a similar procedure to a tummy tuck, but performed on the arms to remove that excess skin (those “bat wings” that so many woman dislike).

The procedure may require an overnight stay, and bruising and swelling is to be expected. Compression garments are normally worn for 3 weeks following surgery to support the arms and aid in swelling.
