Introducing Prescott Plastic Surgery
As of March 2025, Dr. Banis has officially retired. While he remains our practice’s biggest support, he’s moved to Colorado to spend precious time with his children and grandchildren.
Dr. Angela Prescott has taken the leadership and ownership role of this wonderful practice since fall 2023, making Prescott Plastic Surgery one of Louisville’s few female-led plastic surgery practices. As a double-board certified plastic surgeon, and former general surgeon in the Air Force, Dr. Prescott has over 16 years of surgical experience and has served on three US presidential support missions. As a mother herself, she carries a deep and personal understanding of the physical and emotional aspects of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
Handpicked by Dr. Banis, Dr. Prescott is proud to bring a fresh perspective and feminine insight to her work in Louisville, while still continuing the legacy of excellence for which Banis Plastic Surgery will forever be known.
A Message from Dr. Prescott
“Dr. Banis is a pillar of the plastic surgery community and has touched thousands of patients’ lives. He taught the next generation of plastic surgeons, and working under him, I learned how important it is to listen to your patient and how to be a true advocate for your patient. I am a better surgeon, a better provider, and a better physician because of Dr. Banis. I feel so honored to continue his legacy of reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in Louisville, Kentucky.”
A Message from Dr. Banis
“Dr. Prescott is a gifted surgeon. I would have her operate on me in a heartbeat.
Many people are surprised to learn that Dr. Prescott actually purchased the practice about a year or more before my retirement. The transition has been so seamless that you wouldn’t know there’s a new owner.
She’s a remarkable woman. She’s young, she’s talented, she’s definitive. It’s been my luck and privilege to have found her to take over the practice. I’m very proud to say that she is going to be the one taking the practice forward from where I leave it.”
