Vera C. van Aalst-Barker, MD
Dr. Vera van Aalst is a native of the Netherlands where she received her medical degree from the University of Maastricht. She began her plastic surgery training in the Netherlands, at the University of Utrecht, during which time she was awarded a research fellowship in plastic surgery at the University of Louisville.

After spending 2 years in Louisville, she decided to continue her general and plastic surgery training in the US. Since the completion of her training in Louisville, she has been in private practice with Dr. Banis and became Board Certified in Plastic Surgery in 2005.
