Joseph C. Banis, JR., MD, FACS
Dr. Banis is a native of California. He received his B.S. from Loyola University of Los Angeles and his M.D. from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He completed his general surgery residency at the University of Hawaii and became board certified in General Surgery.
Dr. Banis pursued his plastic surgery specialty at the internationally renowned and highly competitive Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, Virginia.
He also completed a Reconstructive Microsurgery Fellowship at the University of Louisville and Hand Surgery Fellowships at both the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine and the University of Louisville School of Medicine (Kleinert and Kutz Hand and Microsurgery Fellowship).
