Fat Injections

The goal of this procedure is to improve the appearance of a localized body-part area that needs improvement. For example, fat injections can be used in plumping up tissue for facial rejuvenation - such as the upper & lower lips. Fat is taken from the abdomen, thigh or buttock and re-injected into the face.

The beauty of fat transfer is that the materials used to augment the desired body part are your own fat cells. This makes the procedure unquestionably biocompatible and non-allergenic. Also, a body fat transfer feels more natural than a body implant. The results are permanent - although it may take more than one procedure to achieve the desired outcome.

Fat injections are performed on an out-patient basis. Some bruising and swelling is to be expected, but there should be minimal downtime. The procedure can be performed in conjunction with other facial procedures such as a Facelift.
